Dance of Days is a Brazilian band - although a lot
of people call Dance of Days an emo band, its lead singer, Nene
Altro, says that the band is just "a rock band" - named for the
Embrace (an old school emo band) song. The band is part of the
Brazilian rock underground, although somewhat controversial because
of the declared hate of the lead singer for the Straight Edge
movement (which he helped to create in Brazil in early 90's, but
withdrew from in the early 00's) and accusations of Nene Altro's
having sexually abused teenage girls backstage at Dance of Days
shows.
