Damon Edwards, better known as Dangerous Dame is an American rapper. Hailing from Oakland, California, Dame was first signed to Atlantic Records, where he released his debut album, I Got What You Want. Dangerous Dame then moved to T-Cap Records for 1992's Same Ole Dame, which made it to #10 on the Top Heatseekers, and Snakepit Records for 1994's Make Room 4 Daddy. In 1995, Dame joined the upstart No Limit Records to release the EP, Escape from the Mental Ward. After a four year hiatus, Dame returned as Saucy and released Haven't You Heard. Although he has not released any albums since, he occasionally ghost-writes for underground rappers from East Oakland.
