Daniel Duggan is a British amateur astronomer and
astrophotographer.
During his 2006 employment with the Faulkes
Telescope Project (the UK education arm of Las Cumbres Observatory
Global Telescope Network) was particularly acknowledged due to his
deep sky CCD images from Faulkes Telescope North and
Faulkes Telescope South.
He often
collaborates with Nik Szymanek whose imaging and image-processing
abilities brought him the Amateur Achievement Award of the
Astronomical Society of the Pacific in 2004.
Daniel has had his
images published in astronomical magazines including Astronomy Now and have
also been shown on The Sky at Night - a monthly television
programme produced by the BBC on
astronomy, presented by Sir Patrick Moore.
