Daniel Lane is a British music journalist. He was born on April 3, 1979 in Wolverhampton, England. Lane worked as the deputy editor of
Metal Hammer
magazine from May 2000 until
May 2005 and is currently the
deputy editor of Kerrang! magazine. Lane has also written for
Classic Rock
magazine and British music industry trade magazine Music Week as well as
co-authoring two books, The Book Of Metal (2002) and The Guitarist Book Of Heavy
Metal (2004).
