Daniel Rose (July 31, 1772  – October 25, 1833) was an American politician from the State of Maine. He was a member of the Democratic-Republican Party, and served as president of the Maine Senate. He briefly served as governor from January 2 to January 5, 1822, filling an unexpired term between the administrations of Benjamin Ames and Albion K. Parris.

Daniel Rose (born 21 February 1988) is a footballer, currently playing for Manchester United.

Rose currently plays in midfield and is the captain of Manchester United Reserve Team.
He had played 22 times for the Reserves and he scored 8 times in the 2005-06 season.

On Thursday 4th January 2007 Rose joined Conference Promotion chasers Oxford United on a month long loan with a view to a longer loan period.
He is said to be a good passer of the ball but also a tough tackler who can score goals.
He is expected to make his Oxford Debut against Morecambe on Saturday 6th January 2007.
