"Doggie" (born April 19, 1966
in Køge) is a Danishartist-observer, currently based in Copenhagen and Istanbul. He was one of the
pioneers of Danish Hip-Hop and in the early 80's he became a member
of The New Nation and started the graffiti crew The Dark Roses. He studied advertisement and
was working as an AD since 1988. Made several Hip-Hop jams,
AV-shows and became involved in Scandinavian graffiti
exhibitions/shows. He lived and worked in Amsterdam, N.Y.C. and Montpellier were he developed his 'tup'
paintings 'What you see is what you get'. Then in 10 years he
didn't work at all, until 2006 when he started his DoggieStudio and
shortly after had exhibitions in several European countries with
his photocollage. 'I'm trying to destroy what you do see' - 'My
works and I are reborn several times in the working process', he
said about his collage.
