All you can see is flashing Technicolor and all you can hear is a wall of chaotic noise! You feel like you’re having an epileptic fit whilst suffering from ADHD! No amount of paracetamol is going to stop this invasion! This isn’t your worst nightmare: this is Danny Rhymez and Matty B. There is no off button and there is no dimmer switch! Now and only now are you beginning to understand what it’s like to feel Danny Rhymez and Matty B. Not so much a style of music, but a genre of art!

Disguised by the “flashy washy” graphics and cuntingly cuntish vocabulary are deep heartfelt lyrics and poignant political observations!

Danny Rhymez and Matty B are from the little island of England.

I don't know a whole lot about either of them or how they got into the music scene or who their influences are, but I think they wanna take over the world.

I think their music is kinda techno-pop?

After their first album, Lifeblood Mixtape, became an international success, they are back in the studios working on their eagerly anticipated second album, tentatively titled Lifeblood.

The second album will feature cameos by Andy Robyn, a Canadian up-and-comer; and Alex Crabbe, a Brit living in Spain. Neither of them have hair as cool as Matty B does.

"The first album was more experimental. Although amazing, it had an unstructured feel to it; the second album starts with life and ends with death. It has more thought put into it."

Some of their songs feature an anonymous girl with an absolutely angelic voice, it's spellbinding, all their best songs are the ones where she's singing, they should have more songs where she's singing. While not a major hit with the critics, Danny Rhymez and Matty B have a strong underground following and are known throughout the globe on every continent, thanks in large to a steady Internet fanbase. Matty's a better artist than a singer, he paints wonderful things; the cover of the second album features a painting of his. Matty's gonna be a croupier, yay.


2006 was an exciting year for the duo, who went out on a limb and competed in the Pringles Unsung competition. New fans and old both came by in hordes to give support to the band with their unique and original sound; Danny Rhymez & Matty B enjoyed the #1 position on the charts at their peak for an amazing length of time with their hit single, "It's OK Now". Out of over 560 acts competing, the boys finished strong in 12th place.
