Dare2b is an adrenaline mountain sports clothing brand based in
Manchester,
focusing on ski and snowboarding in the autumn/winter season and
mountain biking, BASE-jumping, climbing and trail running for those
who cant keep away from the mountain during the spring/summer
season.
In 2008, Dare2b opened its first stand-alone store at
the
Chill
Factore, the real snow indoor ski centre based just outside
Manchester in Trafford Park.
The Dare2b ethos is to understand
that not everyone can make a career out of doing what they love
most, going up or flying down mountains. Therefore the essence of
the Dare2b brand is keen to help the unlucky majority escape the
9-5 grind, by offering hardwearing, comfortable and affordable
clothing to make sure they’re set for the challenges and thrills
ahead!
In April 2008, the Dare2b team went to South Africa to
shoot the range for the spring/summer 2009 season.
Product
technology without the pocket sting!
All the clothing in the
Dare2b range is made from both state of the art fabrics and
technologies. These two ingredients, when put together, have helped
Dare2b produce some of the driest, coolest and most breathable
garments on the market without trying to bankrupt its
wearers.
Dare2b team
Dare2b provide sponsorship and
equipment support to some of the most promising and up-and-coming
skiers and snowboarders from across the UK and afar (mainland
Europe :-)) in return they report back to Dare2b with technical
reviews about the durability and suitability of their products for
the challenges the mountain sports provide.
Dare2b help
conquer Mt Kilimanjaro
In January 2008, with help from
Dare2b,
Richard Meredith-Hardy managed to fly
over
Mt
Kilimanjaro, using his trusty
microlight.
