An Indian Princess in the mid 18th century, she was a niece of Hyder Ali, and was the first wife of Major Thomas Fletcher of the [[East India Trading Company
The princess and major Fletcher were painted by Thomas Gainsborough
the painting was stolen from Canadian art gallery
She was brought back from India and they lived in Logie House,now demolished, on the Lochee Road
