Darragh Connaughton is a famous Irish soccer, rugby, darts, tennis, snooker, hurling and cricket player and is also mayor of Athleague. Police believe he may be linked to the murder of Enda Mc Elduff, a Dublin politician, who was known to be one of Darragh's mortal enemies due to his campaining for the rights of homosexuals and even more so due to the inappropriate advances Enda repeatedly made towards him, Enda himself being a rampant homosexual.
