Das Reich (Deutsche: Literally The [German] Empire.[1][2]) was a weekly newspaper founded by National Socialist German Worker's Party propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels in 1940. It was mainly circulated inside Germany, but was also available to subscribers in Switzerland and other European countries. Published by Deutscher Verlag, the newspaper contained exclusive material, including weekly lead articles written by Goebbels. At its height it was read by over one million readers.
