Databarracks is an online backup and recovery services provider based in the UK. Founded in 2003, Databarracks started as a managed service provider for online backup catering for everything from home users to enterprise level businesses. Today the company is the first managed service provider offering virtual disaster recovery in the UK, also providing SAN replication and managed vault services.

Databarracks’ model of service promotes complete Information Lifecycle Management. Empowered by Asigra, the online backup software works in the background, offering an automated solution that features common file elimination and de-duplication, which help reduce backup windows and storage growth. Hierarchical storage management is achieved through retention rules for automation of data transfer between live and archived vaults.
Arxcis, the online backup software from Databarracks uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and delta blocking technology to compress and encrypt the data before it is sent offsite. All data is then sent to Databarracks’ vault hosted at The Bunker, an ex-military, ISO 27001 certified Tier 4 data centre in Kent.

Databarracks is based in Clapham Common, London, where they also have disaster recovery offices used as workplace relocation sites for their clients.
