Services

Nexetech’s DataDuplication provides many different services that relate to the duplication industry. A description of such services is as follows:

Mastering - the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio to a medium for future duplication. The specific medium that receives the mastered audio varies, depending on the intended release format of the final product. This medium is then used as the master copy, from which all further production of the audio material will be based.

Duplication - Using prefabricated discs (identical to those purchased for consumer use), the information is burned onto each disc individually. The burners used are typically identical to that of a burner you would find in a PC. This process is used for quantities of under 1000 discs.

Replication - In this process the discs are stamped with the information and the discs are fabricated during the replication process. This process is generally used for quantities of over 1000 discs.

Printing - Similar to a household inkjet printer, CD printing prints directly onto the CD cover.

Silk Screening - is a printmaking technique that creates a sharp-edged image using a stencil and a porous fabric.

Lightscribe - A labeling process whereby the label is burned into the upper layer of the disc by means of a laser.
