Dave Sullivan was an original member of Iron Maiden. He played guitar with the band for a few months before being replaced by permanent Maiden guitarist Dave Murray in 1976.

In 2006, the original twin-lead Iron Maiden guitar lineup - Sullivan and Terry Rance - were named as executive managers of the famous Maiden-related bar and grill, Eddie's Bar, located in Santa Barbara de Nexe in Portugal’s Algarve.
