David Bascome MBE (born January 29, 1970) is a retired association football forward.


Club career

David Bascome started his First Division soccer career at the age of 16 with North Village Rams in Bermuda. At 20 years of age, he signed his first professional contract with the Harrisburg Heat of the National Professional Soccer League, USA. After 13 seasons of professional indoor soccer, Bascome won his first Championship during his 2003-2004 campaign with the Baltimore Blast. [1]

After retiring he was named to the assistant coaching position of the Blast on October 12, 2006 and helped lead the team to the 2008 MISL Championship in his second season on the coaching staff.

International career

Bascome formerly played for the Bermuda national football team, featuring in several FIFA World Cup qualification matches.[2]
