David Cullinane is a Sinn Féin politician who has been a councillor in Waterford City Council since 2004. He is married to the Carlow/Kilkenny Sinn Féin election candidate Kathleen Funchion. Cullinane is a general election candidate for Sinn Féin the 2007 election in the Waterford constituency in the Republic of Ireland. David currently has a position on the Waterford City Enterprise Board and the Local Traveller Accommodation Consultative Committee in Waterford. In the 2002 General Election Cullinane recieved 2,955 first preference votes and failed to meet the quota to be deemed elected a Teachta Dála.
