David Dewar is a British conductor, choral director, organist, harpsichordist, and french horn player. He has worked with ensembles, choirs, and orchestras based in England. Currently, Dewar is based in Cumbria in the north west of England.

He studied conducting with George Hurst and Rodolfo Saglimbeni, horn with Marion Sugars, Roger Clark, and Anthony Halstead, and organ with Malcolm Saxton and Anne Marsden Thomas.
