Dave Gabbard, original Nothingface singer.

Dave Gabbard, the original singer for Nothingface left the D.C. area in 1995 and moved to the Atlanta metro area. A drummer originally, Dave became a singer by filling his sisters shoes in a band with, Darren Guzzone and Sean Walsh, who later formed Abby Normal. Dave Gabbard played with Abby Normal before joining Nothingface in 1992. Dave Gabbard, Bill Gaal, Chris Houck, and Tom Maxwell first got together after playing local clubs with each others bands. The Brotherhood began. Then NOTHINGFACE conquered the Baltimore/D.C. area with their crushing sound. Nothingface went on the road in 1994 on the "Hate You Tour 94" out west. Nothingface played thru Washington state, Oregon, California, Texas, and so on. Later Dave left the band at the end of 1994 to move to Atlanta to go to college. During college Dave kept writing music and learning to engineer and produce. Dave said, "Bill Gaal really taught me a lot in the studio while he engineered and produced our first demos." FACEWRECK is the new band formed from Dave's heavy metal roots and his struggles and anger of this world. Dave started recording the new demo "FACEWRECK - The Legend of: Tommy Jones" in May 2005. Just recently finished at the end of July. Dave has teamed up with lead guitar slinger Curt Shumate from Cumming, Georgia to bring FACEWRECK to an even crazier level.
