David Hall (born 1979) is an English world professional snooker player who joined the elite top 30 spot around 1997.
His raw talent and recognizable knowledge on the motion of the object ball relative to the cue ball has influenced a great variety of top snooker players around today including Peter Ebdon, Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis.
His greatest acheivements was when he won the Irish Masters in 2006 and reached both the quarter finals of the China and British masters in 2005.
He was also runner up of The Nations Challenge narrowly losing to Shaun Murphy but regained his momentum in the next season with automatic qualifications to the U.K and Grand Prix tournaments.
His highest ever recorded break is a 147 in the Irish Masters which really boosted his self esteem for further titles.
He now is living in Kent with his wife Dianne.
His provisional ranking for this season is 21 just outside the top 20 but with continued encouragement and support from his coach Steve Donton and his wife, Dianne he should be able to overcome that obstacle in a matter of time.
