Although a striker at schoolboy level Hutton has been converted into a winger for the Tottenham U18 side & has put in some very impressive displays which have earned him both international recognition and oppertunities with Tottenham's reserve side.
He signed as a first-year trainee in Tottenham's Academy at the beginning of the 2006/07 season.

Although on Tottenham's books David Hutton is a lifelong Arsenal fan (Tottenham's bitterist rivals) and holds a season ticket at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
