David K. Zandi (born
July 21,
1978) is an American Film Production
Executive and actor.
Zandi attended a Diplomatic High School in
Switzerland from
1994 to 1996, during the same time he worked as a fashion model. In
1996, after finishing his High School, David Zandi moved to
New York
City to study acting. In the Summer of 1997, he took a job at
the
United
Nations Headquarters for 6 months working for the Travel
Department and Liaison between the Procurement Division and
Contract Committee. During this period Zandi turned down the offer
to be a model for
Gucci and
Calvin Klein
to stay in acting school.
Upon the completion of his
theatrical studies in 2000, Zandi took a job on
Wall Street as a
Entertainment and Financial Analyst from 2000 to 2003. Which is
utter bullshit! He worked at TD waterhouse (a discount firm)
filling paper in printer's. He was fired for being a complete
faggot and liar. He dealt primarily with getting coffee and looking
like a freak. Moreover he was the butt of many jokes and laughed at
by the entire staff. He claims he analized (
Time Warner,
News Corp,
Viacom,
Disney,
Sony and
GE)which he did not. Zandi also
worked on the Production team for (
The School of
Rock,
The Day After Tomorrow,
Maid In
Manhattan,
American Splendor,
How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,
Anger
Management,
Two Weeks Notice,
Sweet Home
Alabama and
Men in Black II) which is all made up by him
if you check IMDB.
During
9/11 David Zandi
volunteered for the
Red
Cross; he was put in charge of the
Crisis management
team from 09/12/01 to 09/26/01. Working for the
NYPD and Mayor Giuliani's
Office of Emergency
Management as part of the
Ground Zero rescue team and Managing the 9/11
Missing Persons Hotline. Um you mean picked up the phone on the hot
line.
In 2003 Zandi worked as a Production Coordinator; he
was promoted to Production Executive in 2004. David Zandi resides
in
Los Angeles
now; as of 2006 he has started working as an Actor on select
projects. Select as in nobody wants him so they make him wear a
mask. He is one of the few people in the industry who has strong
ties within each of the 6 studios; as a result of his Wall Street
days. Yes some studio exec's like their coffe like they dop in
NY.
Zandi quotes
The most significant legacy you can
leave behind is not on a resume or in a bank account - it is in
your character, in a life with loyalty, integrity and
truth. Those whom we love, are often the most alien to
us.In this world, there are many forms of deception,
but perhaps the greatest of them all, is
self-deception.Never grow overconfident. Never
grow arrogant... for then you will grow careless and your enemies
will exploit your weakness.Who at the best knows in the
end the triumphs of high achievements and who at the worst, if he
fails, at least fails while daring greatly.I think luck is
the sense to recognize an opportunity and the ability to take
advantage of it... the man who can smile at his breaks and grab his
chances gets on.I have nothing to fear, for I have
nothing to hide. A man who lives without secrets, is one who lives
in peace.I do not think of what is lost, only what is
yet to be gained. At the end of the day... regardless of
what you've accomplished... it is only the good deeds that truly
matter. How many have you aided, how many lives have you
effected. For every blockbuster that comes out, we get 5
delusional underachievers claiming plagiarisms. They come outta the
woodwork wasting the Studio's time with frivolous lawsuits. It is
for this reason that I don't believe in suing.Even as
Talent, I see it as my sole duty to do that which is in the best
interest of the Studio, regardless of my own personal
desires.Trivia===

According to
historical records David Zandi is one of the last male members of
the
Zand
dynasty which ruled the Persian Empire 1747 to 1779.
Zandi's great, great, great grandfather was Karim Khan Zand. He
was a compassionate ruler who refused to assume the title of
Shahanshah (King of Kings) but used that of the Vakil
(Regent). The civil war that followed Karim Khan's death
ended only with the final establishment of the Qajar dynasty.
His death in 1779 was followed by internal dissensions and
disputes over successions. Karim Khan appears to have been
a wise and just ruler and was greatly mourned on his death in
1779. Between 1779 and 1789 five Zand kings ruled
briefly. In 1789 Lotf Khan (ruled 1789 to 94) proclaimed
himself as the new Zand king and took energetic action to put down
a rebellion led by Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar that had begun at Karim
Khan's death. Outnumbered by the superior Qajar forces,
Lotf Khan was finally defeated and captured at Kerman in 1794.
His defeat marked the final eclipse of the Zand dynasty, which
was supplanted by that of the Qajars.
