David Kanbar is an entrepreneur. He founded a mortgage company upon graduating from New York University, which he sold four years later. He then moved to San Francisco where he bagan working for Skyy Vodka, which was invented by his uncle, Maurice Kanbar. David worked for Skyy for almost five years, rising during that time to Executive Vice President. He recently launched super-premium Bambu Rum, which is the first rum to be quadruple distilled and triple filtered, making for the purest rum on the market. David is said to have pioneered the rapidly growing super-premium white rum category.
