David Lehre is an independent film maker,
director, actor and editor for Vendetta Studios. He has been know
best for his works on the internet movie sensation, "MySpace".
[210]History
David Lehre, now
a recognized filmmaker started out like us all.
Early
Life
Around tenth grade David Lehre had aspired to be a film
maker. Around that
time Lehre had gathered a handful of people to
create a film. Everything he
had done at that time was, as stated,
a Zero-Budget production, in which was
provided by freebies and
favors. By the time he started college he had been
well into the
field of film.
Adult Life
By the time he started
college, his corporation, Vendetta Studios, was
established.
Vendetta Studios was a team of actors and production
assistants like Jeremy Kerr, Mike Metz,
or Joe LaDuke. They
produced many independent, short movies such as "Learn to Dance
Salsa! With Hernando", "Disease Island", "Hard at Work", "The Cruel
Streets", "MySpace: The Movie", and "Move, Bounce, Shake".
Around this time, Lehre had dropped out of Oakland University
because teachers and staff were
asking for jobs and sending Lehre
their resumes. He took some classes afterwards and the same
incidents repeated themselves.
Recognition &
Publicity
After the launch of his viral video, MySpace: The
Movie, Lehre had gotten the recognition he
deserved.
MySpace's Favor
Main article:
The
MySpace MovieIf it wasn't for MySpace, it is likely not as
many people would know the name David Lehre.
MySpace: The Movie,
one of many independent films Lehre created, had skyrocketed
through "bullitens" on the MySpace site like a chain message on
wildfire. After watching the video users were asked to repost the
bulliten in another bulliten. In fact, with this one jump start
technique, the movie had gotten 11,000,000 hits due to the
enourmous amount of users in the MySpace network. Since then, David
Lehre has been written about, read about, interviewed, featured on
newspapers, and gotten deals from other agencies. He is now
recognized as one of the most famous independent internet film
maker.

Lehre has since then made a
'Vendetta Entourage' video, one that mimics the actual television
series called 'Entourage'. He asks people to make a photo of
themselves with the "Vendetta Entourage" logo on this image.
Therfore, promoting Vendetta entirely, while giving teens something
to do. Sites like MySpace featured Vendetta Studios on the front
page of MySpace, a rare but great place to be in the teen world.
Since then Lehre has more "MySpace Friends" than "Tila Tequila",
said Lehre on an interview.
Deals
Recently FOX
Enterprises ran meetings with Lehre in Los Angles, California. They
depended on him for answers as to why teens don't watch TV or go to
the movies anymore and is offering him a film
deal.
