David Starr is an American politician from Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in the 2002 Elections, coming in last place of six candidates. In 2003, Starr interviewed with the Anne Arundel County Central Committee for appointment to the open Maryland House of Delegates seat in District 32. Terry R. Gilleland, Jr. was ultimately appointed to fill that vacancy.

Starr's father, Gerald P.Starr is a perennial Republican Candidate for office and has been a member of the Anne Arundel County Republican Central Committee since 1991.

Starr is considering another run for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 32 in 2006.
