Almost completely unmodified since the show's debut in 1965, the title sequence of Days of our Lives features an hourglass, with sand slowly trickling to the bottom against the backdrop of a partly cloudy sky,[48] as well as the trademark voiceover, "Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives."
