Death of a lifetime is a
rock/
metal/
punk band from East London.
The band was formed in September 2006 after much debate over what the band name should be.
Suggested band names included: smacked to deaf, bleeding upright, breathing sorrow, killing time, trapped beneath this and death of a lifetime.
The band finally decided on death of a lifetime because of its clever play on words.
Current band members
Bookworm (Rhythm guitar/Vocals)
Freshie (Vocals)
Big Mac (Bass guitar/Piano)
Wolfman (Lead guitar)
Current band members Freshie and Big Mac also were in the rock band Suicide Opera between July 2006 to August 2006.
They had 1 hit during that period called Security Blanket.
However, this song was met with mixed reactions.
The song tended to appeal more to the older generation, rather than teenagers.
Death of a lifetime are currently doing
Green Day and
Metallica covers whilst composing a new song, which hopefully will appeal to a younger age group.
The band is notable because it is one of the best upcoming british bands to be formed.
This band has had 2 number one hits in the UK, on the east london young bands MCSGA charts.
Both were covers.
