Devin Townsend chronology

Deconstruction is the upcoming twelfth studio album by Canadian musician Devin Townsend, and the third in a planned series of four records under the Devin Townsend Projects banner. The album is due to be released on his independent record label HevyDevy Records in May 2010.[1] Townsend has stated at different times that Deconstruction will have the heaviest and most technical music he has ever made, although he has since expressed doubt about whether the album will be either. He has also compared the album to a musical.[2] The original working title for the project was "Deconstruction of a Cheeseburger", but this has since been shortened to "Deconstruction" to avoid the work being viewed as a humor piece.[3]
