DeepThinka Records is an independent underground hip-hop music label founded in 1997 in the city of Buffalo, New York. According to the company's mission statement the label consists of talented emcees and producers aimed at preserving both the music and the culture of hip-hop, which are by nature inseparable.


DeepThinka's Roster over the years has been composed mainly of artists hailing from Buffalo, New York, Brooklyn, New York, and Cleveland, Ohio. Currently the roster is primarily composed of Buffalo natives Xnow, Wise Mecca, Gr& Phee and Rhyson Hall; and the label also works with the development of a handful of other artists, collectives, producers, and dj's in the area and beyond.

Gr& Phee and Rhyson Hall are the label's most nationally recognizable act, having release 12" singles which have charted at #1 on hip hop radio charts http://www.rapattacklives.com/charts_215.htm, as well as featured high profile guests like 90's hip hop veteran El da Sensei of New Jersey based group The Artifacts. Additionally the group has toured extensively in the United States and Canada, recently completed the coast-to-coast Guy on the Couch Tour.
