Deer Creek is a large stream in Maryland that flows through the scenic areas of Harford County, and empties into the Susquehanna River, roughly halfway between the Route 95 Bridge and Conowingo Dam. It serves as a divider for the agricultural and urban/suburban divide in the eastern half of Harford County, and runs through Susquehanna State Park and Rocks State Park. Deer Creek supported the last known population of the Maryland darter, the only endemic vertebrate in Maryland[1]. The creek is commonly used for recreation in the summer months.
