Degenrica is a rock band from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, formed in October of 2005. They have gained a lot of attention in their local music scene because of their melodic guitar tones
and inspiring lyrics.They are famous for combining Classic Rock and Grunge music styles. Their style is heavily influenced by bands like Nirvana,Led Zeppelin, and Disidente.

Formation

Degnerica was formed when Pablo Valdes and Christian Perez met in school and started creating music together. After a while they decided to create their own band and joined with Raul Pardo (Guitar), Poncho Silva (Guitar), and Ivan Sanchez (Bass). After a few band practices they noticed that Pardo, Silva, and Sanchez could not fulfill their expectatives and were thrown out of the band. A few months later they met Dominic Sena, an incredibly small (a joke between the band members) guitarist, who they immiedietly invited to join the band.

Politicas Existenciales-

Politicas Existenciales is Degenerica's first recorded material. It will start the recording process October 19th in Gargoyle Records. This EP is expected to be available for sale and download on Degenerica's Myspace in November 2007.
