Delhi Belly is a forthcoming 2010 Bollywood comedy movie, revolving around several characters in Delhi. The film is being produced by Aamir Khan, who is also said to be doing a cameo role in the movie, under his banner Aamir Khan Productions in association with UTV Motion Pictures[1] and directed by ad filmmaker Abhinay Deo, who was roped in after Swedish director Robert Nylund withdrew [2].

Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Chitrangada Singh were touted to star in the movie. After both of them backed off, Aamir signed his nephew Imran Khan[3] for the lead role after he attained tremendous success with his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. The shooting for the movie began in August, 2008[4] and is scheduled to be completed in one long schedule in Delhi. The well known Indian comedian Vir Das has also been signed for the film to star in the lead role opposite Imran.[5]Abhinay Deo says "Delhi Belly is an ensemble piece. It's not a film about Imran Khan. He is only one of the several protagonists. There are others whose characters as just as important. There is Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das and Poorna Jagannathan, an Indian actress from LA". [6]The film has been stuck on the edit table for a long time. Initially, Aamir was to spearhead the edit but he got busy with his own films. Director Abhinay Deo has already moved on from the film and is now working on another project, Crooked. [7]
