Outside of Delta Winnipeg hotel
The
Delta Winnipeg, formerly the
Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, is a
hotel and
conference center located in downtown
Winnipeg, Manitoba, with nearly 400 rooms and more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space.
The building was designed and completed in 1973 by the
LM Architectural Group, which also worked on a lot of other well-known Winnipeg area structures, including the
University of Manitoba library.
[696] In 2000, it was purchased by the
Delta Hotels chain.
[697] At times, it is listed on
hotels.com and other similar sites as the highest-price hotel in the city of Winnipeg.
