Outside of Delta Winnipeg hotel

The Delta Winnipeg, formerly the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, is a hotel and conference center located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, with nearly 400 rooms and more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space. The building was designed and completed in 1973 by the LM Architectural Group, which also worked on a lot of other well-known Winnipeg area structures, including the University of Manitoba library. [696] In 2000, it was purchased by the Delta Hotels chain. [697] At times, it is listed on hotels.com and other similar sites as the highest-price hotel in the city of Winnipeg. mb&inout=&CIMonth=9&CIDay=28&CIYear=2007&COMonth=9&CODay=30&COYear=2007&dateless=&numrooms=1&adults[0=2&child[0]=0 (sample listing, where it is the only hotel priced above $200/night]).

The Winnipeg Convention Center, with the skywalk connecting to the Delta

The Delta Winnipeg is part of the Winnipeg Walkway system, a set of skywalks and tunnels between different blocks of the downtown part of the city. Included is a walkway between the hotel and the adjacent Winnipeg Convention Center [698]
