== Demon Night ==


Demon Night the manga Written by Lizzy Nakashima,and based on her friends and real life. Note:No demons actually exist however.
Late at night six friends on a dare walk on a "haunted" road, when the Witching hour approaches. Those with weak powers wont remember these hours, but for a select few, it will haunt them forever. As a demon appers in the sky, Angela(character) screams as she is impaled on a tree. Yet the demon is dead, head blown off.
After seeing their friend killed, the six friends awaken to their powers, and use them to fight demons. It sounds pretty lame, but they don't exactly exercise control at school either. It's not uncommon to see someone's milk explode at lunch, or their locker is mysteriously filled with water...Hey, what do you expect from teens, maturity.
As the story progresses, School friends begin to pick up strange powers of their own, and most of them are spurred into action from seeing the gruesome acts of demons, or from having friends or family killed.
At the climax of the story, there is a solar eclipse due on the city, and the team is gearing up for a big fight. Not only does that mean that the demons will be able to come into our world, but now there's going to be more bystanders. The fact that they're all in school during the eclipse means that the battle will be held on school grounds.

Characters

Lizzy(Akiko) Main character, she is nice and sensitive but can get get quite mad at times. Very protective of friends.

Element Wood

Powers Crystal necklace grows into sword on right hand, Yang symbol necklace grows to shield on left hand. She can also generate a light attack that she fires from her sword.
Later in story she gains powers of resurrection. Third in ESP, but only when she's REALLY concentrating. Always wears Pigtails, although they went out of fashion years ago.

J.T. (Ryuu) Lizzy's twin brother, mischievous, and has unusually high power(higher than anyone other than Lizzy which is equal in strength)
has a strong dark aura and is very intelligent.

Element Water, Death

Powers His wrist watch turns into a gun, when he runs out of poison bullets he breaks the gun in half and turns it into 2 swords. Also gains powers of resurrection and can fire an attack much like Lizzy's only complete and total darkness as opposed to light.

Prescott(Key-o) Talkative, and sociable, he can get anoying at times,jokes some what.Very energetic. Spends lots of his time running, hiking,...recreational activities. Eats alot, but never gains any weight, lots of people jelous of him for this fact. Sort of smart.

Element Wind.

Powers His shark tooth necklace around hip turns into a white bird and attacks. He can also shoot energy blasts from his Cell phone.

Gretchen (Tsuki) Mischievous, very powerful, nobody can really tell what's on her innermost thoughts. Likes to joke with people in a way that makes them cry. Seems to notice strange occurrences faster than others and has the most ESP besides Chloe.

Element Fire

Powers Able to control barbed wire and fire.

Tali (Sora) Very Very Kind and sensitive and can understand peoples feelings well. She is the most protective of her friends, and often gets hurt trying to protect them.

Element Wind

Powers She uses water to shield and attack mostly, but her weapon is a nagitana (Japanese staff with a long dagger at the end) that she uses only when needed.

Brigette (Kohaku) Tali's little sister, and attendee of Junior High. She's got a temper, and is surprisingly strong for her size.

Element Fire

Powers Air. Despite her young age, Bridgette is the most brutal fighter (besides J.T) and uses her power to levitate knives that she shoots into her enemy's body.

Chloe (Haruka) The most mature member of the group, Chloe gains her power later on in the story.

Element Light

Powers Psychic powers that are very strong. She uses them mostly to disrupt the mind of her opponent, and to cheat on tests. :)

Angela(Suzu) Very Very anoying. Talks even more than Prescott. kinda ditsy. Dies in the first chapter of manga, which inspires all other characters to gain there powers. When she dies the 1st demon charges her she screams it blows the head off the demon the demon with both tentacles, first chops off her leg then smacks her into a tree, where she is impaled thru the right eye and stomach.

Element Wind

Powers Can scream so loud it can blow the heads of her enemy's and targets.

Kristy(Ryan) Strong willed and loyal, was Angela's best friend. Determined to kill as many demons as possible for pay from taking her friends life. She joins the team and gains her powers later in the story. She's also very sensitive, and it takes a lot of self control to not hurt people who make fun of her or hurt her or her friends.

Element Water

Powers Has blue contacts that can manipulate ice. when using her powers her contacts crack like ice. later in the story she gains Ice wings.

Minor characters

Mckenzzie Only kills about 10 or so demons, but every little bit counts. She helps Skyler a lot.
Powers Can Blow a bubble with special bubble gum, when the bubble pops bolts of lightning shoot from it.

Christopher Prescott's childhood friend from elementary school. kills about 30 demons. Wow.
Powers Turns skin into stone can also make stone sword from arm.

Celina Kills about 20 or so demons. Lizzy's friend, Prescott's Girlfriend, Nice, plays a pretty big role, but obviously not big enough to get a main role. Teams up with Lizzy and/or Prescott.
Powers able to blind demons with huge flash of light long enough to slice them with her wolf fang sword.

Lauren Kills 20 or so demons. Prescott's friend. Teams up with Christopher to kill monsters.
Powers Kicks soccer ball that she can summon from thin air. once kicked it grows spikes like a mace and cuts through 3 demons at once.

Diego kills about 20 demons. Teams up with Dido or Skyler and Mckenzzie.
Power Grows a skeleton around his arms. Giant claws scrape skin clean of anyone leaving only a Skeleton.

Skyler kills about 15 demons. He is friendly, but has trouble controlling his power, so he gets aid from Mckenzzie.
Power Shoots small blasts of fire.

Dido kinda funny,cant be serious. About 30 years old. oldest one with powers. Note: Does not play a major role in last battle.
Powers Can turn people inside out.

Tara Tali's older sis. Really funny. About 24 years old. Low energy but still has the "Memory" its called. A good ally, and always willing to help with covering the fact that a group of underage teenagers was out past curfew with dangerous weapons.
Powers Has a Pirate sword with a skull on it. its eyes light up when demons are close by.

Brynlee Prescott's older sis. Has the memory but no powers. takes care of Prescott when his parents die. She is 21. Also helps with covering up and lets Prescott's house become the central base for planning and hanging out.

Jeff Funny and amusing, he is the 2nd youngest to gain powers. kills about 15 demons.
Powers Cross-dimensional awareness. Able to tell what the demons are doing in the demon world.

Types of Characters

Humans

Regular humans Don't have any special ability. Usually the Demon's Victims.

Irregular humans Can "sense" demon's presence and have the instinct to stay away from infested places. Although they cannot see them clearly, some even have a vague idea of what they look like. These people believe that they can communicate with the dead.

Powerful Humans Have spiritual abilities. Depending on type of energy, their powers range to the equivalent of a demon's to the equivalent of a god's.

Demons
Very evil. They enjoy mutilating the human body before killing their prey. Their existence is explained by unsolved homicides and mass murders. They leave earth not only because their world is not eclipsing ours anymore, but also because they can't stand the sunlight of our world, and the atmosphere would kill them. Lead by unknown character. You find out more about him in the end.

Gods
Powerful demons that take on a humanoid form. They are able to hide among humans in the daytime and are therefore unaffected by the earth's atmosphere.

Settings

Human World: Skyline High School(All characters except a few are attending Skyline. Prescott's house(haunted road). Tali's house.
Gretchen's house. Lizzy, JT's house.

Demon world(Night world): As the sun goes down and night progresses the demon world slowly combines with our own. When the witching hour is upon us it is the strongest then it lessens. Those with low power forget what happens and think they were drunk or high or something. Those who have power and go in alone get ripped apart by an unseen force(not demon).

Witching Hour The "Witching Hour" referred to is the hour between 3 and 4 AM. That's when the demon world is completely aligned with ours, and the noises of the world seem to stop. This is also when the demons are at their height of power, and is the hardest time to fight them off not only because of the increase in strength, but also because you're so tired from staying up that late and fighting.
