Deni "Danny" Acevski (born 12 October 1989 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian professional footballer currently playing for Blackpool. . As of 2007 he is the youngest current Blackpool player.He started off as a junior at the Green Gully Soccer Club in Melbourne Australia when he went up the ranks to move to overseas to the Blackpool Football Club's Youth Academy.In this role, he is a part of the defensive unit for his club he offers cover for attacking wing-backs and other midfielders who have a poor record of dropping back to help the defence. He made his first appearance for the Seasiders against Scunthorpe on November 13, 2005, in front of the Sky Sports cameras, setting a new club record as the youngest player (at 16 years, 32 days) ever to make the Blackpool first team. Trevor Sinclair, now at Manchester City, previously held the record after his debut in 1989, at the age of 16 years, 5 months.
Acevski signed professional terms with Blackpool in June 2007
