Dennis Kloke (May 18th 1944-July 30th 2007)

Dennis Kloke, a true renaissance man, was born in the heart of downtown Los Angeles in the area known as Compton. It was in this peaceful subburb that he begain to gain his notoriaty for his basketball ability and sexual prowness. Froma very young age he exhibited what the greats call "It". Kareem Abduhl Jabarr was hquoted as saying " I dont know what It is, but damn does he have It". He took his basketball career to another level when he played for the Washington State Cougars and received letters from 1964-1966 [2141].

One example of his prowness on the court can be exeplified by this piece about his game from 1965.

Men's Basketball
Feb.
13, 1965

Eight days after losing to UCLA at Westwood by 52 points, Ted Werner pulled down a then school record 24 rebounds (still second best in WSU history) as the Cougars nearly upset the No.
2 ranked Bruins, 70-68, before a capacity crowd of 5,137 at Bohler Gym.

The Cougars were down 44-35 at the half, but rallied to take a 64-61 lead with 4:40 to play.
WSU missed its next five shots and UCLA was able to take advantage of the Cougars' cold stretch and regain the lead.

WSU had one last chance to tie with two seconds left, but Dennis Kloke's desperation heave beyond half court clipped the rim, hit the backboard, and fell harmlessly to the Bohler Gym floor.

The '65 edition of the Bruins would go on to capture the national championship, marking the second of head coach John Wooden's 10 national titles at UCLA.

Dennis proved his high sperm count and his great genes when he produced his 3 children with his amazingly beautiful wife Michelle Kloke. His children (listed by age) are as follows: Micah, Nathan, & Rachele.

Children

Rachele is by far the most respected of the Klokes, and the greatest achiever. She played womens basketball for the Stanwood Spartans in High School. Then in 2007 she recieved a scholarship to continue her athletic career with the University of Idaho in Moscow,Id. We obtained this quote from Rachele last week when asked how she is liking U Of I. "I'm loving it here in Moscow. There are so many cute African Americans that i dont know how to control myself! Atleast my father cannot see me now!" Wow, what a great quote from an amazing offspring of the legend Dennis Kloke. That quote will go down in history.

Dennis' Second Child, Nathan, is a different story. Nathan started his career off with a bang. Playing for Anacortes High School basketball. He started as a freshman on the Varsity team and astounded many people with his great talent and Jordan like skills. Nathan moved on and also played for a Seattle,Wa based team, The Breeze. Here Nathan learned discipline, playing with much older players and much more experianced individuals. Later Nathan moved on to play with the Stanwood Spartans. His career ended short unfortantly with the discovance of a rare heart disease. Nathan was no longer able to play the game he loved and was unsure what he would do next. Things got worse after that...Nathan was involved in a Rollercoaster accident at Knotts Berry Farm shortly after graduation from high school. He passed away shortly after arriving to the hospital...we all know he's up in heaven though..shooting hoops with his dad and drinking Jaeger bombs like there's no tommorrow.
