A Cinderella story that most impoverished childeren can relate to.

Dennis Hansen

From Mora, MN, was the first-born of an impoverished family. Although Dennis grew up in a lower class family, he strived to become more than his 9th grade drop-out father. Dennis earned his Eagle Scout and Vigil Honors in high school and went on to earn an AA Degree, BS Degree, and is currently a graduate student at the University of MN, Duluth.

According to the statistics, Dennis was bound for welfare, jail, or an early death from violence, but his drive for a better life has made him a role model for people from impecunious backgrounds.
