Denton Bible Church is a non-denominational church
located in Denton, Texas. It is one of the largest
churches in the city, and in July 2005 relocated to a new facility
on U.S.Highway 380 on the east side of Denton,
roughly two blocks from its prior location.
Tommy Nelson
It
is currently pastored by Tommy Nelson, who is locally and
nationally known for his series on marital intimacy based on
Song of
Solomon. He was quarterback for the University of North Texas and was
offered a contract with Cincinnati Reds but notably refused it to
pursue ministry.
