About

Terran fighters in the T-V war era were under powered in terms of engine output, but made up for it with superior armour and firepower.

Great War designs were faster and more adaptable without losing much in firepower.

FS2 era ships blended high performance and strong defensive and attack capability, with most craft able to perform a variety of roles.

Intercept and Recon

Valkirie

The Valkirie is a Terran Fighter deployed towards the end of the Terran Vasudan war. A Development of the Angel class Scout Fighter, Its modifications included 2 additional angines and 2 Primary weapon mounts. Its design is reminicent of atmospheric fighters of earth's 20th / 21st century. It is the fastest ship in the GTA.

The Most noted mission of the Valkirie was one of its first and its instrumental role in capturing the Terran Traitor Mccarthy in his attempt to sell the Avenger weapon prototype for his defection.

The class was probably named after the valkyries the of Old Norse mythology

Loki

The Loki is a Terran Fighter deployed after the events of the Great War during the GDI Hades Insurrection. In both the events of Silent Threat and FS2 the Loki is primarily deployed by renegade Terran factions i.e. GTI Rebels and the NTF, though in FS2 it is available to GTVA pilots. A light fighter originally designed to be undetectable by sensors for recon purposes a flaw in its design after its first deployment which rendered its stealth capabilities useless. It is still a capable craft in the hands of an alert pilot as its speed is unmatched until the development of the Peruses Interceptor, though this is with the drawback thin defences and low offensive capability.

Perseus

The Perseus is a Terran Fighter deployed during the early events of FS2 during the final months of the NTF insurrection. Designed to replace the 32 year old Valkyrie Interceptor which was a development of the older Angel scout fighter of the mid T-V war.

The Perseus improves upon the Valkyrie in speed and defences making it a difficult fighter to tackle in anything heavy

This class is named after Perseus who is an instramental charicter in Greek mythology
