Critical reception

Critics were generally not pleased with the album. CANOE's Darryl Sterdan commented "...judging by [Spider One's] blond spikes, curled lip and padlock necklace, now he wants to be Billy Idol's stepson." He elaborated by calling it "the soundtrack to his latest personality crisis. Half the time he's grinding out rubberized riff-metal and barking like a devil dog. The rest of the time he's punching the air and sneering over recycled Pistols licks. And in the end, the two sides seem to cancel each other out."
