Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell is a 1978 television movie, directed by Curtis Harrington and starring Richard Crenna, Yvette Mimieux and child stars Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann.
The Barry family acquire a new puppy after their old one dies in an accident. Only the father and the family maid suspect, rightly, that inside the dog are demonic forces. The dog exhibits mental control that allows him to kill (or nearly kill) many victims. Finally, the father makes a special trip to Hawaii to determine how to destroy the animal.
