Devin Michael Mulholland was born on the outskirts of Durban in the back of his fathers Volkswagon convertible in the year 1983.
It was this location that first led him to his destiny to become the youngest dirt man in the history of South African dirt.
After a troubled childhood, in which he suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the local preacher, he decided to leave Durban behind in search of browner pastures.
He left home at the age of 9 to travel north in search of his dream, to find the most fertile dirt in the great continent of Africa.
Spending several months travelling, he found himself in Nigeria.
It was here he met the second love of his life, A young man, known by the locals as Unfoofu.
The two were yet to realise that they would become part of something much greater than mere dirt.
After Devin's 10th birthday, the pair travelled back to Durban.
It was upon his return that they encountered a wild herd of African elephants.
Tragically during this encounter Unfoofu lost his life as he tried to save Devin from a charging bull.
Devin was thrown into the dirt whilst Unfoofu was speared by a tusk and stomped repeatedly.
He died instantly.
Despite this setback Devin battled to continue his heroic dirt research.
Whilst experimenting with an isotope that would have changed the fundamental elements of dirt as we know it, he stumbled across a much bigger find.
While focusing on his isotope, Devin unknowingly created a static charge that created what he later termed "Magic Dirt".
The new creation of "Magic Dirt" had hopes of doubling the size of crop production as it was given the properties of holding 4 times the nutrients of standard dirt.
Unfortunately this "Magic Dirt" theory was later debunked and revealed as a complete farce.
This caused Devin to go into complete exile, the last known whereabouts of the most infamous dirt man South Africa has ever known, is New South Wales, Australia.
Where he has reportedly changed his name to Phillip Mulholland.
