Dhanwar also known as Rai (ISO 639-3: dhw) is a language spoken in parts of Nepal by an Indo-Aryan ethnic group. It is an Indo-Aryan language belonging to the East Central zone and must not be confused with Tibeto-Burmese Rai languages spoken by the Rai of Southern Mongoloid phenotype. Dhanwar's total population: 53,229. There are almost 150 different kinds of Rai who speak different Rai languages.
