Diagnosis: Death is a horror comedy film made in New Zealand, written and directed by Jason Stutter (co-writer Raybon Kan) and briefly featuring members of the TV-series Flight of the Conchords, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie and Rhys Darby.[2]

Plot

The plot is set around a facility where they test new medications on willing volunteers. During the testing it is found that a possible double murder took place at the facility at some time.[3] It is realised that the only way to escape is to solve the mystery behind the murders. While at an experimental drug weekend trial, Andre Chang and Juliet Reid meet and soon discover that their lives are in danger.[4] The building is locked down for the testing period and it is found that the drug on trial causes extremely disturbing hallucinations that point towards a horrific double murder that took place at the facility. It is soon realised that the only way for them to escape is to solve the mystery behind this horrific secret.[5]

Release

Lightning Entertainment released the film on August 3 in the United States[6], the DVD will released on 29 December 2009.[7]
