Great Bear International Services (Pvt) Ltd., trademark DIALLOG, is a privately held Wireless Local Loop operator that commenced its services in Pakistan in August 2005. DIALLOG is one of the four CDMA technology providers in Pakistan and has a growing share in the telecom market. It is a 100% foreign owned company which provides state of the art communication services for the local market with quality network coverage, greater call capacity, higher data throughputs, improved security, voice clarity and attractive pricing packages.

History

DIALLOG is owned by private shareholders from Ukraine and Belarus. DIALLOG is of Belarusian origin and was established as the technological leader in its home country. It was one of the first operators in the world to launch a CDMA450 cellular network. DIALLOG started in Belarus back in 2002 with the company named BelCel, which is Belarus’ oldest telecommunication operator.

DIALLOG name was launched in Belarus after rebranding of BelCel for CDMA450 digital services. BelCel holds the position of being the first cellular operator in Belarus and the third CDMA network in the world to launch services in the unique 450MHz frequency band. DIALLOG offers CDMA2000 1X and EV-DO services in Belarus

Pakistan

DIALLOG made its first steps in Pakistan in May 2004, when the company applied for a license with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for 450MHz frequency band, which is being its core competence. The Company established its Head Office in Islamabad and has since expanded to Rawalpindi, Attock, Murree and Lahore. DIALLOG offers CDMA connectivity with limited mobility in its authorized telecom regions.

CDMA Technology

CDMA - Code Division Multiple Accesses - is a digital cellular technology that uses the latest techniques in encoding digital sequences, hence providing much better capacity for voice and data communications than other commercial mobile technologies like GSM. CDMA allows more subscribers to connect at a given time, with lesser cost, greater efficiency and is now the common platform on which 3G technologies are built.

DIALLOG Franchise Network

DIALLOG has a large and well-established Franchise Network through which its sales are predominantly generated. DIALLOG presently has 31 Franchises in Rawalpindi, 14 in Islamabad, 9 in Lahore, 2 in Attock and 1 in Murree. This strong network is one of DIALLOG’s major strengths in reaching its target market effectively.
