Dian Thomas is most well known for her books in the Roughing it Easy Series. Dian first wrote roughing it easy when she was a home economics teacher in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Her book was first published by the Brigham Young University Press and she went on tour to sell the book. Book sales were very good and she went through several printings. Eventually over one million copies of Roughing it Easy were sold. Because of the Success of this book Dian was featured on the Johnny Carson, the Today show on NBC and Good Morning America.

Recently Dian has written a series of books that will help people get free publicity called "How to get a million dollars worth of Free PR." She wrote this series based on what she learned about public relations by writing her first book series and launching her own career in television. This series can be applied to any type of industry.
