Diane Linn has spent nearly three decades as a management professional in the public, non-profit and private sectors. She has traveled widely sharing her expertise in politics, strategy, organizing, management, budgeting, decision making, problem solving, negotiation, facilitation, and policy development and implementation.

Linn is nationally-recognized for her special emphasis on mental health social service reforms, ending homelessness and school-based supports for children and families. She is widely-acknowledged for community building, enhancing citizen participation and providing leadership in challenging fiscal and political environments.

Linn has served as Multnomah County Chair/Chief Executive Officer; Multnomah County Commissioner; Director of the City of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement; Executive Director of the Oregon National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL); and Vice President of Programming and Government Affairs and Interim General Manager, Paragon Cable.

Linn holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Certificate of Urban Studies from Portland State University; a certificate from the University of Oregon's Pacific Leadership Program; and certification from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government.

Linn has been recognized for special awards by the Oregon Education Association; Portland Public Schools; Basic Rights Oregon; ACLU of Oregon, Oregon RehabACTion Network, African American Alliance of Home ownership, the National Coalition for Community Schools, the National Alliance for Ending Homelessness and the Community Development Network.
