Digital-Evolutions
Digital-Evolutions is a high school accelerated exploratory technology & design program and a Hewlett Packard showcase classroom. The program introduces students to graphic design, multimedia, programming, video production, and a heavy focus on 3D visualization & animation.

Digital-Evolutions is housed at Smoky Hill High School in the Cherry Creek School District, Aurora, Colorado.

- 2006/2007 - Digital-Evolutions created and sponsored a state-wide animation showcase – Get Rendered! or Get Rendered!(WIKI)

- Spring of 2007 - student teams took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at both the regional and the state level SkillsUSA animation contests.

- Fall of 2005 - Digital-Evolutions hosted an international 3D animation event - 3December!

Recent Awarded Grants



Developing Intrinsically Motivated Learners Through Technology - Providing an environment which engages students to be active learners and take responsibility for their education paralleling what is done in industry.

Digital Learning Community for Students - Developing a dynamic web-based learning community, empowering students to become intrinsically motivated learners paralleling what is done in industry. This will be an extension of the classroom, where students can and will become active learners and support each other during and after traditional school hours in a secure and controlled environment.

Digitally Connected to History - Providing a digital media learning station/center for to further student participate in National History Day.

The Future of 3D is the backdrop of our event as we look forward to what opportunities, changes and challenges await us in the coming year.

Modeler on: Daredevil, Garfield, Elf, Scooby Doo 2, X-men 2, Uprising, Dr. Doolittle 2 and many others . . . Author of Inspired 3D modeling & Texture mapping Co-Author Secrets of the Maya Masters 2

Both are currently at Rhythm and Hues in L.A. and will share with us their insight and experience from the world of Hollywood Visual FX.

Along with local speakers we had have a very inspiring line up.
