Digital Connections, Inc (DCI) is a
privately-held Corporation for Profit based near Nashville,
Tennessee. Operating continually since its founding in 1992, the
company is the ninth fastest-growing Information Technology and
Telecom integrator in the U.S., according to VARBusiness Magazine.
DCI, with its multiple locations and sophisticated logistics,
ensures prompt service to clients throughout the U.S. The Company

The greater DCI
team is comprised of Certified Project Managers (PMI), Technical

high level specialists in wireless, voice, data, network security,
video, infrastructure cabling, and Telco network design and
implementation.

DCI’s Principal Officers
Lee Williams, CEO, Board
Chairman
Mr. Williams joined DCI as President in 2003,
and is the driving force behind the company’s 300% growth since
then. Prior to joining DCI, Lee served as Vice President for the
Western US for Shared Technologies. During his three years there,
he established key offices throughout the western U.S, securing and
servicing large customers in a variety of vertical markets.
From
1987 until 1998, he worked for GTE Communications (now Verizon) in
several positions, including Eastern Region V.P., Strategic Global
Accounts Director, Southwestern U.S. Sales Manager, and sales.
Prior to that assignment, Lee worked for Nortel as a mathematician
for its engineering group and later in product development and
sales.
Lee Williams holds an AA from Dalton College, a BA from
Jacksonville State University, a MBA with a concentration in
Finance from Emory University, and attended the London School of
Business in an Emory exchange program to complete his post graduate
studies.
Duke W. Gatlin, President,
COO
Named Chief Operating Officer in early 2006, Mr.
Gatlin oversees DCI’s five Business Units with responsibility for
all sales, engineering and service delivery, and is also a member
of DCI’s board of directors. He comes to these positions from
Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he led a service delivery
organization with 225 field service engineers dispersed over thirty
countries, supporting the world’s largest currency trading network.
Previously, Duke was National Director of Strategic Partnerships
for Netigy Corporation, an eBusiness infrastructure consulting
firm. Netigy was primarily backed by venture capital funding from
Cisco Systems and was a Cisco Strategic Partner.
Duke’s
background also includes nine years with the Customer Networks
division of GTE (now Verizon), where he worked with Lee Williams,
DCI’s Chairman and CEO. During their tenures there, Lee and Duke
led the team that successfully sold and transitioned the largest
outsourcing opportunity in the division’s history.
In all, Mr.
Gatlin has 22 years of experience in telecommunications and
outsourcing. His duties have spanned management of sales, business
development and service delivery. He holds a Doctor of
Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas at Austin School
of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
