Digitaldreamdoor.com is a repository of entertainment and information, a non-commercial website completely owned, operated, designed, maintained, controlled, and paid by the chief editor Lew in Boca Raton, Florida, U.S.A. The site features unofficial lists such as the greatest songs/albums/artists and movies of certain genres, based on the competent suggestions of visitors and the editors' knowledge of each list (there are several editors). It has by far the most comprehensive song lists featuring a multitude of genres such as rock, funk, jazz, blues, disco, classical music, etc., and is ever-expanding with new ideas. Also included are jokes, lyrics, games, and pictures.

DDD history

Although fairly new, Digitaldreamdoor.com began in September 2003 as a website displaying artwork before it began to incorporate rock lists from Guitar Magazine and VH1. This all changed when the infamous Rolling Stone "Greatest Rock Artists" list came out; the website owner saw how visitors to the Rolling Stone website were allowed to post comments, and this gave him the initiative to create an open forum at Digitaldreamdoor.com to target the rock lists he had already put up.

What initially began as rock lists from other publications soon evolved into the author's own take of the the greatest in rock n roll. Thereafter, more editors were recruited to put up lists for other genres such as jazz, blues, and classical music and since then the site has been growing. Currently, as of November 2005, there are over 100 music and movie lists, making Digitaldreamdoor.com one of the most popular sites on the web.

Credibility

The editors of their respective lists strive for accuracy as is evident in the several updates based on the competent suggestions from visitors and other editors as well. The more competent suggestions, the better the lists become.
There is nothing "official" about the lists. They are as a means for informative and entertainment purposes.

Growth and expansion

Digitaldreamdoor.com continues to expand, and visitors are able to view which works have been updated or what new pages have been made through the "Updates" button at the top of the page. Also, they are free to post on the forums, guestbooks, or even e-mail the editors.
