"Diglog" is an interactive digital circuit simulator that is used for digital electronics projects and education worldwide.
And is part of a package called "chipmunk".
A huge benefit is the interactive approach.
In which you can change your construction while running the simulation. An oscilloscope is also included to watch waveforms. Software is GPL-v1 Licensed and runs on FreeBSD, Linux and win32 at minimum.
Projects like pipelined microcontroller with lcd and keyboard has been realised inside the simulator.
